Kundalini Yoga

As Kundalini yoga gains popularity, many of you still have never heard of Kundalini yoga. Kundalini is a form of yoga that is over 5,000 yrs old. Yogi Bhajan brought Kundalini yoga to the West in 1969 as a householder yoga to teach people how to cope with changes and difficulties that one faces in life. Kundalini Yoga is a technology that brings together physical poses, breathing techniques, and mantra for immediate benefits. The difference between Kundalini Yoga and other types of yoga are the formulated set of exercises called Kriyas. These kriya sets are designed to strengthen the nervous and glandular system, generate energy, increase lung capacity, massage the internal organs, and promote elasticity of the muscles. In addition, kriyas can be focused on specific areas of the body or aspects of one’s self.

Kundalini yoga has given me the strength of commitment, discipline, and will-power. I use Kundalini to strengthen my aura that protects myself from negativity, and disease. I've attracted more opportunity, prosperity, and have become more intuitive in all aspects of my life. With my daily practice, Kundalini yoga expands my spiritual growth, my healing, and balances my emotions. The benefits are endless and I'm ever so grateful for this practice!
